Namaste Studio Kids Yoga

Yoga is a fun, joyful and peaceful way for families to move together mindfully. This class is an introduction to yoga with an adventure theme that focuses on fun and family. We begin by focusing and tuning-in, followed by a playful practice that includes animal poses, partner poses, music, games and laughs. Class ends with guided imagery and relaxation. While our adventures are centered around the kids, adults will get a good stretch too! Anyone can do it and everyone will enjoy it.

Experienced teachers

Denise Beaudoin is a E-YRT 200 yoga teacher and certified massage practitioner that leads our kids yoga classes. In the past, Denise worked as a behavior therapist for children with autism and other developmental delays. As a behavior therapist she was able to incorporate yoga and pranayama practice into her work. Over the years Denise’s practice has evolved both personally and professionally. Denise currently balances work with “mom-life” and teaches public and private yoga classes 4 days a week. In October 2018 Denise became Reiki 1 certified and is excited to connect with this universal life force healing energy on a deeper level.

You can expect Denise’s classes to be focused, yet fun and playful. She believes that life is meant to be enjoyed! Children naturally know how to follow their bliss, so her job as a yoga teacher is to help adults remember what that was like and to help children never forget.

Yoga at an early age helps kids boost their self-esteem and physical wellness. Yoga enhances flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness. While it may not seem like it, children also experience a variety of stressors from school, busy parents, or competitive sports. Our kids yoga classes offer a space for children to relax and learn in a welcoming environment that encourages mindfulness and expression.
